PICASSO'S GRILL - ATHENS, AL

Tonight we decided to try out a new restaurant that we thought had opened in Athens. We got to our location and we found out that they were not open to the general public quite yet. We were able to dine at this location during a soft opening.

We hope you will join us in welcoming Matt and Michelle Crawford and their family and crew to Athens, AL with the opening of a new wonderful restaurant I think you are going to love.

I feel that Picasso's will be a welcome addition to our wonderful city.

Grilled Vegetable Napoleon

Served with portobella, squash, zucchini, mozzarella, and a tomato goat cheese sauce.

IT WAS DELICIOUS !

Charlie ordered the

Picasso's Pasta

Fettuccini with fresh tomatoes, basil, garlic, and
mozarella with grilled shrimp

He said "IT WAS

THE BAKERY AT ELKMONT

Several years ago there was a girl name Caren who had a dream…

She discovered that she liked to bake….

She began to create beautiful cakes and people were in awe of

her creations.

For years she created cakes as a hobby and had fun.

She experienced many new ideas……

She dreamed of one day opening her own bakery..but that seemed so far far away.

After much prayer and patience,

God allowed a far away dream to come true....

As you stroll in, you can smell the warm hint of fresh cake

tickle your nose, and

the sweetness of fresh baked muffins and cupcakes

…..mmmmmmmm

This was indeed the smell of a fresh colonial bakery……

This was the good country welcome of

a dream come true......

Caren and Kim present:

The Bakery at Elkmont was opened on its first day with a prayer, asking for God's blessing.

Come on by and be blessed with the sweet treats that these ladies have to offer you from their bakery.

Bro Mike Westmoreland led a prayer asking God to bless
"The Bakery At Elkmont" and the work that Kim Ogle and
Caren Samples put into the opening of their new business on the first day.

From the youngest to the oldest, people came out on

the first day to try the new delectable desserts.

THE COOKIES, AND CUPCAKES WERE WONDERFUL

YUMMY !!!!

The Bakery at Elkmont is full of wonderful fresh baked goodies..waiting for you to take home to please your loved ones.

They have a variety of cakes to choose from

and they do custom cakes for all occasions.

The opening day was a success with the bakery so packed that there was barely room for people to stand.

Copier Doctors - Mitzi's Gifts --ATHENS, AL

Today I made my way to a location that I have been overlooking for quite a while. I had no idea such a treasure was literally right down the road. I totally love this place....It is totally AWESOME!!!!!
